This is the translation project for the MusicBrainz Picard documentation hosted on https://picard-docs.musicbrainz.org/ .

Before you start

Before you start translating the Picard documentation please first check the translation status of Picard itself into your language. Translating the documentation is a huge effort, and having Picard itself translated should have priority over translating the documentation. Picard's translation is currently still managed on Transifex, see the Picard translation notes.

Translation tips

• Each section of the documentation is represented as a separate translation component. It is recommended that you open the corresponding documentation section in a separate tab while translating.
• Please make sure to use wording that is consistent with MusicBrainz Picard's UI and also MusicBrainz itself. The glossaries for both the overall MusicBrainz project and specifically for MusicBrainz Picard are available.
• The translation memory contains all of the existing Picard translations, so please make use of the "Automatic suggestions" provided by Weblate if possible.
• Translations will only be enabled on the official documentation once they have reached a completion of at least 60%
